In Mumbai, India, a massive billboard toppled during an unexpected storm, leaving at least 14 dead and scores injured.
The billboard, which the authorities estimate to be 70 by 50 meters, collapsed on Monday, falling on city homes as well as a gas station.
A rescue operation is underway, according to emergency services, as there are still a few persons trapped beneath it.
Mumbai is located in the state of Maharashtra, and the Maharashtra government has requested an investigation into the occurrence.
In the eastern part of the city, Ghatkopar, footage from local TV networks shows the enormous billboard wobbling in the wind before collapsing and smashing into other buildings near a busy road. A number of cars were smashed in the collision.
