Dawn was informed by Malir SP Saeed Rind that a fight between two factions had broken out a few months prior, resulting in one fatality.
Another altercation broke out between the two parties on the court premises on Monday when they arrived at the Malir courts for the case hearing, the SP continued.
He added that as one side left the court, the other side was supposedly waiting for them on the major National Highway, close to Salman Tower. They engaged in combat with one another and also used aerial gunfire. After that, they set fire to three motorcycles.
Traffic on the highway was suspended during the altercation because it caused panic and confusion in the surrounding area, according to SP Rind.
