Traffic on the Naran-Kaghan route has resumed after the Pakistan Army and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) rebuilt the damaged bridge at Mahandri.
The bridge has been rebuilt by Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and is now open to all types of traffic.
On July 30, 2014, flash floods wrecked the Mahandri Bridge.
Roads leading to Mansehra, Kaghan, Naran, and Babusar were off-limits to all traffic because of the bridge accident. The Mahandri Bridge’s demolition presented both locals and visitors with significant challenges.
NHA and FWO made the emergency decision to build the bridge because of how critical the situation was.
The Pakistan Army supplied the equipment needed to build the bridge, and the FWO’s machinery and labor force were constantly in use.
