After weeks of rumors, Noel and Liam Gallagher officially announced the band’s reunion on Tuesday morning.
Prior to the announcement, there were rumors circulating that the band will be headlining Glastonbury Festival in addition to performing a record-breaking ten nights at Wembley Stadium.
Nonetheless, the tour has already played four Wembley performances, four in Manchester, the home city of Oasis, plus concerts in Edinburgh, Dublin, and Cardiff. They stated that these would be the only shows in Europe when the announcement was made.
After some press articles and social media speculation over Glastonbury, Oasis has finally directly addressed the rumors.
Oasis released a statement confirming that, contrary to rumors in the media, they would not be performing at Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals in 2019. The band’s Oasis Live ’25 World Tour is the sole opportunity to catch a live performance.
The band stated in their initial statement that plans were underway for additional gigs outside of Europe.
On social media, the two brothers announced the reunion with the caption, “This is it, this is happening.”
The concerts are scheduled for July and August of 2025. The end of June marks the annual Glastonbury Festival.
