After abruptly leaving his Mississippi show to watch his wife Amber give birth to the couple’s third kid on his tour bus, the country music artist went viral over the weekend. Later on, he would be back on the show.
“I can’t say this was on my bingo card,” the country music artist jokingly said on “Fox & Friends.” “It was somewhat insane.
Gilbert acknowledged that he and his spouse had planned for such a scenario.
In fact, a midwife was with us, so we were ready in case it happened. However, we believed we had a week or so left because [Amber] had a fantastic night the night before,” Gilbert recalled. “And we didn’t.”
Amber went into labor fast.
“Aside from the fact that I had to get this baby out, I don’t know what else was on my mind at the time. In only a few minutes, I went from reading a novel in bed to phoning the midwife,” she disclosed. As a result, I was eager to see the show.
