The actress, now 61, said that after she gave birth to her second child with then-husband Bruce Willis, she would cycle 30 miles from the family home in Malibu to a Hollywood studio, only to make the trip again when she was done filming for the day.
According to Moore, “I put so much pressure on myself,” and in an interview with “CBS Sunday Morning,” “I did have experiences where I was told to lose weight. While those experiences may have been embarrassing and humiliating, that’s what I did to myself because of that.”
In response to a question about her lengthy bike rides during the 1993 filming of “Indecent Proposal,” Moore revealed that her daughter Scout was only “5 or 6 months old” at the time.
“I had to feed her through the night, get up in the dark with a trainer and a headlamp, bike all the way to Paramount, wherever we were shooting, and shoot for the entire day—which is typically twelve hours—before starting over.
