The TV host has drawn a lot of flak for disclosing that her kid traveled to multiple locations in Europe this summer with a friend who is 16 years old.
Later, she defended him, claiming he was nearly sixteen years old and that kids need to have greater freedom.
She stated that the report to child services “made me very angry” in her most recent writings on X.
If anything, it’s a summary of where we’ve come from, but the fundamental problem is that so many people tend to believe that travel is more perilous in the modern world, despite the fact that improved emergency medical care, safer transportation, and modern communications.
“Seeing him return so happy and confident was a joy,” the father continued, expressing how pleased her youngest son is of his trip.
The good news, she added, is that there is now a discussion about how to assist teens in growing up to be competent, self-assured adults and how realistically and factually we see danger.
