ISLAMABAD: Following a successful first round of parleys, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will submit its written requests to the government’s negotiation committee at the upcoming meeting.
On Monday, the federal administration and the Imran Khan-founded PTI held their highly anticipated meeting in a favorable setting and decided to carry on with the dialogue process.
Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, who chaired today’s meeting at Parliament House, stated that the PTI team would provide a charter of their demands at the next meeting, which is scheduled for January 2.
Sadiq commended the government’s leadership and senior opposition leaders for facilitating the discussions in a constructive setting during a post-meeting press conference.
