Ms. Ghey reported that she had a “positive and respectful” discussion in Warrington with Scarlett Jenkinson’s mother and uncle, who were instigators of the 16-year-old Brianna’s murderous scheme.
On February 11, of last year, she led Brianna to Linear Park, where she was stabbed 28 times in the head, neck, chest, and back with a hunting knife.
In February, it was decided that Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe, who were both 15 years old at the time of the murder, would serve 22 years and 20 years in prison, respectively.
Ms. Ghey added in a statement that “Scarlett’s family’s lives have been changed forever too” and that “it was a positive and respectful meeting which allowed us to initially get to know each other.”
