ISLAMABAD Following a full day of intense work to align the opposition parties and the treasury, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar declared that the federal cabinet will reconvene at 2:30 PM on Sunday to examine and adopt the final text of the divisive 26th constitutional amendment.
At a late-night press conference at Parliament House with Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, the law minister stated, “We presented draft approved by parliament’s special committee in today’s session of the federal cabinet.”
It is important to note that the federal cabinet meeting, which was supposed to start early on Saturday, experienced several delays.
