KARACHI: With the aid of the Edhi Foundation, six Pakistani fisherman and one additional citizen were freed from Indian prisons on Monday and were welcomed warmly in Karachi after arriving from Lahore.
The Edhi Foundation and the Fishermen Cooperative Society (FCS) gave gifts and cash to the fishermen who had been freed upon their arrival to the Edhi Center at Tower.
Ayub Khan’s son Abdullah, Rajan’s son Ramzan Mallah, Yakub’s son Somar, Shabbir Shah’s son Mustafa Shah, Usman Mallah’s son Sughandyo, and Muhammad Siddiqui Mallah’s son Allah Bachayo Mallah are among the fishermen. Dad Muhammad’s son, Gul Sher, was the other citizen.
