QUETTA: Following the terrorist attack on coal mines in Duki, Balochistan, on October 11, over 40,000 laborers have returned to their home regions.
The district’s coal supply was suspended on Saturday due to laborers’ high levels of insecurity, according to the labor group. According to reports, the mine owners have not paid the workers’ debts either.
This development occurs one week after 20 miners were killed in the early hours of October 11 when unknown armed attackers attacked nearby coal mines in the Duki district with rockets.
The miners were gathered by the criminals in one location, and they started shooting at them. According to the police, the attackers launched rockets and hand grenades throughout the assault.
