Days after the first season of 3 Body Problem premiered, the show’s creators discussed their opinions on the second season.
A spy and scientists work together to stop aliens from attacking Earth in this sci-fi series, which is hosted by David Benioff (Game of Thrones), D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo.
According to Liu Cixin’s novel, the series debuted this week; it is unclear how viewers would react to it.
After seeing it through to the end, however, fans are curious as to whether the franchise will drop its much-anticipated sequel. To the delight of viewers, the creators of the show spoke about its future on the Inside Total Film podcast.
In any case, the trilogy consists of three novels.I wouldn’t say it maps out precisely to three since the novels get longer and longer,” Woo remarked.
He continued, “We have some really strong ideas about what to do in a Season 2, and then it’s a little hazier down the line,” hinting that the novels might inspire numerous seasons. But finishing the trilogy is the main objective.
Weiss made some vague references to plotting a potential second season of the program, but she also said that they will wait for Netflix’s approval before moving forward with production.
