The 32-year-old Whitney Wright visited the shuttered US embassy in Tehran, which has been transformed into an anti-American museum, and recorded herself there.
Wright, whose real name is Brittni Rayne Whittington, said on social media that she “HAD to visit” the embassy where, following the Islamic Revolution of 1979, Iranian students had kept staff members captive for 444 days.
“I’m sharing exhibits from a museum that are never seen,” Oklahoma native Wright stated in a since-deleted Instagram post. “It’s not an endorsement of the government.”
Despite the fact that her job in pornography put her at theoretical risk of criminal charges that include the death penalty, she recorded herself all throughout the Iranian capital.
Wright also shared a number of photos during her visit, one of which included her standing next a lowered US flag at the former embassy while donning a headscarf and traditional attire, both of which are mandated by Iranian law.
The adult actress claimed she doesn’t know “half of what is being said here, but I’m no longer in Iran, but elsewhere” in a Monday Instagram story post.
