The two pals, who had been friends for over 40 years and had been on the History Channel series for ten years, reconciled before Fritz passed away, despite the ongoing drama.
Wolfe announced Fritz’s passing on Instagram on Tuesday, saying he was “blessed” to have been able to “be by his side when he took one last journey home.”
“It’s with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night,” Wolfe wrote in a letter. “I’ve known Frank for over fifty years, and my experiences have always mirrored what you see on television.”
Frank has the same ability to touch people’s hearts both on and off screen by being authentic.
