According to reports, King Charles made an unexpected choice about the future of his “disgraced” brother, Prince Andrew, and estranged son, Prince Harry.
Despite no longer being active members of the Royal family, the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of York are expected to continue serving as Counsellors of State.
Andrew resigned from his royal duties in 2019 due to the controversy surrounding his connections to Jeffrey Epstein, while Harry and his wife Meghan Markle resigned as senior working royals in 2020.
However, because they are older than 21 and hold positions in the line of succession, they continue to serve as counselors of state.
