Airbnb bans surveillance cameras in rental units.

The company’s policy modifications will take effect at the end of next month.

The online rental company says the move is intended to streamline its security camera policies and prioritize customers’ privacy.

Airbnb users have already expressed their concerns regarding the usage of inside surveillance cameras.

“These changes were made in consultation with our guests, hosts, and privacy experts, and we’ll continue to seek feedback to help ensure our policies work for our global community,” Airbnb’s Head of Community Policy and Partnerships, Juniper Downs, stated.
