Due to his turbulent connection with his eldest daughter, Ireland, Alec Baldwin experienced years in which his life appeared to go through a bad phase.
The Rust attributed this to his separation with Kim Basinger, her daughter. In the TLC series The Baldwins, the 66-year-old stated, “My divorce with her mother — and having a very protracted custody battle — so negatively impacted my relationship with my daughter Ireland.”
“Everything else was custody,” he added, “and the financials were probably a year and a half.” It was simply insane and extremely difficult.
“One of my most regrettable things was how it affected Ireland,” Alec stated in his apology to Ireland. However, she is 29 years old and mature.
