The long-awaited release of Alec Baldwin’s Western Rust is finally coming after years of postponements and controversy.
The movie, which was directed by Joel Souza and is set in 1880s Kansas, centers on Baldwin as Harland Rust, an outlaw who emerges from hiding to save his 13-year-old grandson (played by Patrick Scott McDermott), who has been given a death sentence for unintentionally killing a rancher.
U.S. Marshal Wood Helm (Josh Hopkins) and a vicious bounty hunter named “Preacher” (Travis Fimmel) follow the two as they set out on a treacherous voyage to Mexico, according to People.
Jake Busey and Frances Fisher are also part of the cast.
