MUAN: All but two individuals are believed dead after a Jeju Air plane carrying 181 passengers from Thailand to South Korea crashed on arrival Sunday, crashing into a barrier and igniting.
Authorities said the accident that threw people out of the plane and left it “almost completely destroyed” was likely caused by a bird attack and unfavorable meteorological conditions.
Video captured the Bangkok-based Jeju Air plane landing on its belly at Muan International Airport. As smoke billowed from the engines, the plane skidded off the runway, collided with a wall, and burst into flames.
