The Faisalabad police have formed the district’s first all-female “Dolphin Squad” in an effort to empower women.
The first-ever female-based squad in Faisalabad will do tasks that were previously under the control of male officers.
By battling street crimes and those who disturb the quiet in the city, the Dolphin Squad is poised to greatly empower women across the nation.
The female police have received specialized training in the use of automatic weapons and 500cc heavy motorcycles to better prepare them for their roles.
The all-female Dolphin Squad will collaborate with the men in their group. The force, which would consist of 500 female commandos, will be in charge of erecting barricades and doing quick patrols across Faisalabad’s streets.
