Kieren Culkin, Emma Stone’s ex-boyfriend, had nothing but praise for the producer of his most recent movie, A Real Pain.
The 41-year-old actor announced his attendance at the Sundance Film Festival by saying that he was relieved to learn that Emma would be producing the film A Real Pain.
“It’s nice because you go into a job and most of the time you don’t really know anybody,” Kieren said in an interview with E! News.
He just said, “But in this case, going in, I’m like, ‘Oh, OK, well at least that part’s taken care of.'”
The Succession star was open about working with her ex-girlfriend Emma Stone at other points in the conversation.
Kieren praised the hitmaker of Poor Things, saying, “She’s great.” She is an incredibly lovely person.
It is important to note that in a previous interview, Kieren was candid about his “platonic” connection with Emma Stone with Rolling Stone.
She’s just my wife’s and my incredibly dear buddy, that’s all. The rising star in acting told the magazine, “She’s gorgeous and great,” before addressing another subject.
For those who don’t know, Emma and Kieren allegedly fell in love in 2009 while working on the film Paper Man, but they broke up the following year, in 2010.
