In an homage to Burhan Wani, All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairperson Ghulam Safi stated that the Kashmir liberation cause was revitalized by Burhan Wani’s martyrdom.
Since the UN resolution acknowledged Kashmiris’ right to self-determination, India was unable to quell their spirit of liberation despite millions of attempts.
He promised that “the day is not far when Kashmiris will breathe free air.”
“The young people in Occupied Kashmir are emulating Burhan Wani.India was unable to quell the spirit of independence among Kashmiris and could not continue to occupy Held Kashmir, Ghulam Safi continued.
“India’s occupation will end tomorrow, if not today,” he emphasized.
