The Shenyang J-35A, a land-based stealth fighter that has been in development for a while, has been formally unveiled by China.
Just before the aircraft’s unveiling at the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition, or Airshow China, which will begin on November 12 at Zhuhai Airport in Guangdong province, the first official image of the aircraft was made public yesterday.
There have been claims that China either stole the design or utilized stolen technology to construct the J-35A because it has been compared to the US-made F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Though the J-35A might mimic some design elements and use comparable technologies, analysts contend that it is too complicated to be regarded as an exact replica of the F-35.
