ISLAMABAD: According to The News, former Additional Registrar Judicial Nazar Abbas, who was recently dismissed by the Supreme Court for a supposedly major infraction, has stated that he is being double jeopardized.
On Saturday, it turned up a copy of his Intra Court Appeal (ICA), in which he contests the show cause notice that was sent to him for contempt of court in a case involving bench powers.
He argued that, on the one hand, he had received a show-cause notice for failing to fixate CPLA Nos. 836-K to 887-K of 2020 before the special bench in accordance with the Regular Bench’s order dated January 16.
