Elon Musk, a tech billionaire, has made a bold attempt to acquire OpenAI in order to gain control of the dominant artificial intelligence company.
A special organization headed by Musk has made an offer of $97.4 billion to acquire OpenAI, according to sources in international media.
Musk recently filed a lawsuit to stop the company from turning into a for-profit business, which prompted this action.
According to the media source, Musk’s lawyer Marc Toberoff said that he presented the bid to the board of directors of OpenAI.
Musk left OpenAI in 2019, although he was a co-founder of the company in 2015. He started his own artificial intelligence company, xAI, in 2023, and it is currently making an effort to establish itself in the field.
