Chinese and American individuals have never been closer as they exchange jokes and memes in what one user called a “historic moment” due to an impending TikTok ban.
All of this is taking place on RedNote, also known as Xiaohongshu (literally, Little Red Book), a well-known Chinese social media program that lacks the typical internet firewall that divides China from the rest of the world.
