Governor Kamran Tessori of Sindh has promised to take tough measures against careless dumper trucks that frequently result in fatalities in the city, stating that he will personally stand in front of the large cargo vehicles if these instances persist.
Tessori criticized the lack of enforcement against these large vehicles during a press conference at Governor House on Thursday. She brought up the recent incident in which a dumper smashed the head of a two-year-old girl.
“Dump trucks cause destruction on Karachi’s streets day and night. “You will see your governor standing in front of them if this doesn’t stop,” Tessori said.
The governor urged Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, to issue directives so that an operation might begin tonight.
