About forty-five demonstrators who had blocked traffic and refused to leave were arrested at Yale and charged with misdemeanor trespassing, according to the New Haven Police Department.
Everyone was released with the understanding that they would appear in court at a later time. There were no reports of any violence or injuries.
The demonstrators demand that the renowned university cut off all funding to defense firms that do business with Israel.
