ASHGABAT: On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the need to further deepen their bilateral ties.
The two presidents had an informal meeting outside the two-day international forum on the topic of “Interrelation of Times and Civilizations-Basis for Peace and Development” here in the capital of Turkmenistan, which is when the development occurred.
The purpose of the moot was to honor the 300th birthday of the renowned Turkmen philosopher, poet, and thinker, Magtymguly Faragi.
According to a statement released by the President’s House, both presidents sent their best wishes to one another.
The Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the President of Kazakhstan also spoke at the event earlier. The president arrived here on Thursday for a two-day visit.
