Witnesses claim that the vehicle flipped and a woman was killed instantly, while nine other passengers were injured when one of the tires burst.
The family was traveling in the van from Bahawalpur to Okara in order to attend a relative’s funeral. After the accident, rescue crews arrived at the scene and took the injured and deceased to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Khanewal.
