The tragedy happened because a gas container’s brakes failed, sending it out of control and crashing into multiple other cars on the Salt Range section of the highway, according to sources.
Rescue crews arrived at the scene and took the remains to a local hospital after learning about the disaster.
The accident site, which is well-known for its sharp bends and precipitous slopes, has already seen a number of tragic incidents.
This unfortunate incident is the latest in a string of fatal mishaps that have happened nearby. A bus accident at Kallar Kahar in June of last year left at least ten people dead and twenty-five injured.
