Thankfully, nobody was hurt when a small trainee plane crashed in the Gandaf region of Swabi on Tuesday.
Authorities in the area claim that just before the crash, the crew of the training aircraft used their parachutes to save their lives. Both crew members escaped unhurt, albeit the plane was entirely destroyed on impact.
Although the cause of the crash is still being looked into, preliminary indications indicate that a technical issue might have caused the mishap.
Shortly after the collision, emergency personnel arrived on the scene and began a comprehensive investigation of the circumstances.
