QUETTA: According to police, a bomb on Saturday near a police mobile van in Kuchlak town claimed the lives of at least two police officers, as reported by News.
The police said that after the explosion, rescue personnel had arrived at the scene, which was close to Quetta.
Two officers hurt in the collision were flown to a hospital to receive medical attention. According to the authorities, one of them died from his wounds shortly after being examined by medical professionals when he arrived at the hospital.
The other police officer’s health was described as critical earlier by the senior superintendent of police (operations).
According to the authorities, the time bomb on Bostan Road that was aimed at the police van included eight to ten kilograms of explosive material.
