The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department has issued worrisome statistics on malaria cases: 54,000 instances have been reported throughout the province, with 10,000 of those cases occurring alone in the Khyber district. Shangla has reported 6,000 cases.
Battagram and Lakki Marwat each had 3,000 cases, while DI Khan reported 4,000 cases. With 2,000 cases apiece, Tank and Karak have also seen noteworthy epidemics.
Since the southern districts are currently the most hit by the outbreak, Health Advisor Ehtesham Ali instructed health workers to act quickly.
In order to stop the spread of malaria and give affected individuals access to the essential medical care, Ehtesham has ordered the health department to put emergency preparations into place.
