Israel’s Foreign Ministry said that an unidentified person had broken into the lobby of the Israeli embassy in Seoul, causing property damage.
Luckily, no employees were on duty when the incident occurred because the embassy was closed for the Jewish festival of Simhat Torah.
The Foreign Ministry affirmed that South Korean officials are working with Israeli officials to conduct an active investigation into the issue.
Although no injuries were recorded in relation to the incident, reports stated that the invader had not yet been found.
This incident occurs after two suspects were detained by Sri Lankan authorities on Thursday on suspicion of planning a terrorist assault on a tourist destination in Israel.
Israeli travelers are in danger.
