A young man’s effort to pass for his fiancée in a multipurpose health workers exam in Faridkot, Punjab, took a funny turn when he encountered an unexpected comic turn.
With a girls’ clothing, scarlet bangles, a bindi, lipstick, and other feminine accessories, Angrez Singh of Fazilka set out to write the exam on Paramjit Kaur’s behalf.
But, university representatives saw through the ploy fast and called the police to report the event.
Angrez Singh went to considerable pains to prove his identity as Paramjit Kaur by presenting phony voter and Aadhar cards.
When his fingerprints did not match the real candidate’s on the biometric device, the well-laid out scheme came apart.
As a result, Paramjit Kaur’s valid application was turned down, and lawsuits were filed.
