Anita Rose, 57, was discovered bruised and unconscious near Rectory Lane in Brantham, Suffolk, on July 24.
She had taken her springer spaniel for a walk about 5 a.m. that day and was discovered by a member of the public around 6.25 a.m.
She died on July 28, after being transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
Suffolk Police said they had identified two further locations of interest in the Newmill Lane area, and cordons were put in place on Sunday.
Officers stated that there will be a continued police presence in the area.
Three people have been arrested in connection with Ms Rose’s death.
Last Wednesday, a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of murder and bailed until October 24. A 45-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were also released on police bail until October 25. A post-mortem failed to determine the cause of Ms. Rose’s death, prompting Suffolk Police to continue the investigation as murder.
