PESHAWAR/ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur urged PTI founding chairman Imran Khan to reevaluate the decision on Thursday, just one day after Sher Afzal Marwat was expelled from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), according to The News.
Gandapur brought up the subject of Marwat’s dismissal in passing during a meeting with the PTI chief in Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail.
However, Khan used his forceful remarks to voice his disapproval of Marwat’s repeated transgressions of party rules. The PTI founder defended his choice by pointing to Marwat’s conduct as grounds for dismissal.
The orders were given during a meeting between the PTI leaders and former Premier Khan at the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi, where the GHQ attack case was being heard.
