The appointment of 25 parliamentary secretaries to various departments within the province has been accepted by Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Important appointments include Malik Iftikhar Ahmad for Awqaf and Religious Affairs and Osama Leghari as Parliamentary Secretary for the Agriculture Department. Shehryar Malik has been assigned to Excise and Taxation, Malik Wahid to the Food Department, Mansoor Azam to Energy, and Shoaib Owaisi to the Board of Revenue.
Sultan Haider Ali for the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, Salmi Sadia Taimur for Women Development, and Muhammad Anas Mahmood as Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Affairs and Sports are among the other noteworthy appointments.
Ajmal Khan has also been designated as the Parliamentary Secretary for Higher Education, Shazia Rizwan for Information, and Sonia Ashiq for Human Rights and Religious Affairs.
