The strikes, which will occur in April and May, are a part of a protracted salary dispute.
Short of a strike, overtime limits can mean that certain services would not operate at all or might operate with fewer drivers if they refuse to work their rest days.
The April and May scheduled tube strikes have been canceled.
ASLEF members will also go on strike and refuse to work overtime at LNER on certain dates in April in a “completely different dispute,” according to the union, “due to the company’s failure to adhere to the agreed bargaining machinery.”
Strikes are predicted to have an influence on Avanti West Coast, East Midlands Railway, West Midlands Trains, and CrossCountry.
