Ariana Grande revealed something unexpected about extending the duration of her Wicked stint.
The actress, who portrayed Glinda/Galinda in the two-part big-screen adaptation of the popular stage production Wicked, said in a recent interview with Variety that even though she is no longer filming, the voice of her character “may stay” with her.
Grande claims that in order to polish her tone for the movie, she underwent months of vocal therapy.
The 31-year-old actress remarked, “I think that might stay,” while considering how her character “required a lot of vocal work” for her. She also said, “Galinda required a lot of vocal work for me.”
The actress stated, “Some things may not melt away, but I’m really thankful for the pieces that will.”
