Broadway singer and chart-topping pop superstar Ariana Grande has talked candidly about the unexpected amount of preparation she put into her Wicked audition.
The 31-year-old singer discussed her audition procedure in an upcoming appearance on The Graham Norton Show, saying, “I started preparing for it before I even had an audition.”
“I started working with voice and acting coaches because there were rumors about the role—I wanted to have access to all the tools in the box,” Ariana continued.
I reasoned that I could have a chance if I put in the effort. I sobbed a lot during the last screen test because I was so afraid I wouldn’t get the part,” she said.
