Even though the 24-year-old ignored the Football Association’s caution that religious propaganda is prohibited on uniforms, the organization will not formally take any action against the England center-back or Palace.
The FA’s rules on the matter were explained to Guehi after he put ‘I adore Jesus’ on his rainbow captain’s armband for Saturday’s game against Newcastle United.
On his armband, though, the defender wore a similar message during the match against Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
