According to a Reuters/Ipsos survey, US President Donald Trump’s approval rating has slightly decreased in recent days as more Americans are concerned about the future of the US economy as the new leader threatens a number of nations with tariffs.
According to the six-day survey, which ended on Tuesday, 44% of participants were satisfied with Trump’s performance as president, compared to 45% in a Reuters/Ipsos survey that was conducted from January 24 to 26. Hours after the Republican’s return to the White House, a poll taken on January 20–21 put Trump’s popularity rating at 47%.
Compared to 41% immediately after he took office, the percentage of Americans who disapprove of his presidency has increased more significantly, reaching 51% in the most recent poll.
