The psychiatrist, a former Conservative minister of health, claimed that he could no longer “look my NHS colleagues in the eye” as a Tory and that Rishi Sunak’s administration was “failing” the health care.
According to him, the strain on the front lines and the decline in patient care are evidence that the Conservative Party no longer prioritizes the health service.On NHS policy, the part-time working medic said, “the only cure is a Labour government” and he would back Wes Streeting, the shadow health secretary, and Sir Keir.
