As rumors circulate that King Charles will soon relinquish his kingdom in favor of his son, Prince William, his advisors have begun assuming his authority “day by day.”
According to a source, the monarch is still dedicated to his responsibilities but is also consulting advisors, physicians, and religious leaders about his future.
The insider told New Idea Magazine that if Charles decides to abdicate, his friends and family will accept his decision.
The Palace insider disclosed that “Charles’ aides have been taking his reign day by day for months now.”
“He is committed to serving as long as he can, but he is not a young man and his cancer treatment is, of course, taking its toll,” they continued.
