After winning the security battle, the Home Office sent Prince Harry with an answer statement.
In a new announcement, the Home Office stated: “We are pleased that the court ruled in favor of the Government’s position in this case, and we are carefully considering our next steps.” It would be inappropriate to talk further.
“The UK government’s security system is thorough and proportionate. It is our long-standing policy not to publish detailed details about those arrangements since doing so could jeopardize their integrity and jeopardize people’ security.”
Meanwhile, the Duke’s legal team, following the latest hearing, reveals: “The Duke of Sussex will appeal today’s verdict which dismisses his judicial review suit against the decision-making body Ravec, which comprises the Home Office, the Royal Household and the Met Police.”
They ended the statement by adding: “The Duke of Sussex hopes he will obtain justice from the Court of Appeal, and makes no further comment while the case is ongoing.
