DUBAI: No Pakistani player was included in the Mitchell Santner-led Champions Trophy 2025 Team of the Tournament, which was revealed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday.
The cricket governing body said in a press statement that five players from India, the eight-team tournament winner, were chosen for the Team of the Tournament following their thrilling victory over New Zealand.
Mitchell Santner was named captain, and four Black Caps players, including Player of the Tournament Rachin Ravindra, made the roster.
After Afghanistan won their first-ever ICC Men’s Champions Trophy match in their debut, two Afghan players were also included in the squad.
