The benchmark KSE-100 Index touched an all-time high, marking a new milestone for the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The index jumped 788 points to a record 86,846 points on Tuesday at midday. In just two days since the constitutional amendments were approved, the stock market has increased by 1500 points.
The KSE-100 Index rose 683 points earlier in the day to 86,741 points before leveling off at its record high.
With the index rising an additional 555 points to close the day at 86,612 points, the bullish trend was clear from the beginning of the trading session. Strong market performance is reflected in the 86,500-point limit being restored.
